OS 29A “Triniale Buffet”
Arne Vodder, a master of his craft, explored new materials and innovative techniques, resulting in furniture, which are not only visually appealing, but also highly comfortable. His skill in understanding and meeting customers’ needs has cemented his status as one of the most influential figures in Danish furniture design of the modern aera.
In 1957 Vodder’s design OS 29A, made by P.O. Sibast, won the first prize at the prestigious Triennale in Milan. This design was a well-deserved honor to an already considerable amount of well acknowledged designs achieved by Vodder at an age of only 31 years.
The OS 29A is a masterpiece, created with a vision to unite beauty and functionality. The sideboard formed the basis for a large number of variants, that to this day, still are a highly popular designs among classic design enthusiasts.

Beside indoor furniture design, Vodder also designed outdoor furniture. The example shown here is the cafe set “Cappucino”
Over the years, Vodder increasingly concentrated on the quality features that met the needs for executive offices.
Vodder’s executive furniture were very successful abroad, and you could find his furniture in the offices of US. President Jimmy Carter in the White House, President Anwar Sadat in Cairo, Pope Paul V in Rome and in UN officies, in bank headquarters, embassies in many countries and hotels all over the world.
